Ride Egypt

Probably my most beautiful horse holidays over the past seven years. (Review)

It feels all the more privileged to have been able to visit Egypt with the so few tourists that Covid forces.

I might have liked the day of tour and horse start earlier and end later to enjoy more, but it also allowed to enjoy the sweet local life and it leaves at least a lot to do/see and so the desire to come back!

Landscapes:

Cairo: The dream of being able to gallop in large desert areas in the middle of the pyramids!

Luxor: more varied riding in the middle of the sugar cane fields along the Nile, in the desert with the discovery of temples, in the midst of the busted but so authentic streets of Luxor

Cultural and tourist interest:

  • Many visits to the main sites in Cairo and Luxor with local guides that offer a good mix with horseback moments. Special mention for our guide in Cairo with which the whole group had a good time around a photo session with Sphynx and pyramids!
  • Human-sized hotels and middle of local life that allow for better immersion. I loved Cairo, this city in permanent agitation and never sleeping
  • A dive in the courtyard of Egyptian life thanks to Emma with kitchen courses, test of all means of transport (tuk tuk, carriage, motorcycle, camel, boat…), morning with a local family, barbecue and horse break in the desert in the middle of nowhere with drinks and meals prepared by premises

The Intendency: perfect and certainly the strong point of stay. Emma, Mohamed and his team are in the middle of the arrival terminal at the airport to the departure terminal. Just let yourself be guided…

I’ve never had such a welcome! (with particularly planned dinner from the first night despite arrival at 11 p.m.) They do everything to answer any of your requests (especially for me in terms of horse photos, food, memory shops…) Small surprises are also organized by Emma with always the will to enjoy the guests.

At the end of the stay, we feel like we’re part of the team and it’s hard to leave all of this on the spot to find his daily life

Guides: for cultural visits, guides were always very nice. I wish I could have taken a little more time with them to find out more, but you had to make choices
For the horse game, Mohammed and his team were really at the top, very skilled, helpful, listening, always looking for us to enjoy

Horses: very beautiful, nice in their head. The team takes great care of it. There’s a lot of taste, just ask!
