Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
You’ll be met by your ‘meet and greet’ host who will help you with your bags and introduce you to your driver outside the airport terminal building. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 2: Rise and Shine!
Throw open those curtains! It’s truly a ‘pinch yourself moment’ as right outside your window is the most iconic landmark in Egypt, The Great Pyramids of Giza, there to welcome you on your first day of your trip of a lifetime. Next it’s time to pop down for a delicious, luxury buffet breakfast before we heading off for your first ride. Having talked so much about the the Great Pyramids our first ride together could only be there! This ride is exhilarating due to the scenery, the forward-going horses and the amazing, once in a lifetime photo opportunities! Ride time approx. 2 hours
After our ride we will visit the mythological and legendary Sphinx, estimated to be approximately 4500 years old – our Egyptology guide will share the secrets of the area with you. We stop off for some lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel to shower, relax and check out before we leave for our road transfer to Bahariya for our next adventure. Check in at our accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Temples, Tombs and Hot Springs with Dinner in the Desert
Beyond the walls of Tzila Bahariya, there are many exciting activities to explore. The village’s peaceful nature, rich Pharaonic museums, and the charm of the local community create a unique and captivating atmosphere, blending history, culture, and tranquillity.
In our non riding morning you be able to engage in some majestic ancient beauty from the Tomb of Bannentiu and the Museum of the Golden Mummies, to some pure relaxation in the Natural Hot Springs which are famous for their healing properties as well as some local retail therapy where will visit Bawiti Village for some souvenir shopping.
After our non riding morning we are ready to head out on horseback and experience the dramatic scenery with an afternoon sunset ride through the Black Desert Oasis.
Dinner will be an enjoyable authentic Bedouin Cuisine under the star lit sky around a candle lit ambience in the midst of the dunes.
Day 4: Full Day Riding in the White Desert with Optional Camping
Our day will start with our stunning safari journey through the desert , which breathtaking scenery on our journey to reach the magical White Desert, where our days ride will begin.
Upon first glimpse of the 300-sq-km national park of the White Desert, you’ll feel like Alice through the looking glass.
Never has a location screamed “Yalla” like the White Desert National Park. Endless hours to be enjoyed in the saddle gazing at these stunning Chalk rock spires almost supernaturally from the ground, each frost-coloured lollipop licked into a surreal landscape of familiar and unfamiliar shapes.
Our full day ride included plenty of various paces to be enjoyed by both the horses and riders (including big gallops).
Lunch on location is cooked in a traditional al method over a desert style bbq!
As we ride back after lunch sunsets of pink and orange kiss the sky as we complete our day in the saddle.
For those who are feeling adventurous there is an option to camp under the stars for the evening, sleeping surrounded by the white formations and visited by friendly fennecs is an unforgettable experience.
Alternatively, dinner and a cocktail around at the lodge after an exhilarating day.
Day 5: Sunrise in the Black Desert with Breakfast
Located on our stables / guest house doorsteps lies the phenomenal Black Desert
Older than the Pyramids, as sublime as any temple, Egypt’s Western Desert is a vast sweep of elemental beauty, surreal rock formations and the ripple and swell of the Great Sand Sea’s mammoth dunes are simply bewitching.
This beautiful sunrise ride covers all paces, what could be a more beautiful finish to our days here watching the sunrise with your new four legged friend and a hearty breakfast again one of mother nature’s masterpieces.
Lunch at the hotel and check out, transfer back to Cairo by the road arriving in time for dinner.
Day 6: Last Cairo Adventures – GEM Museum
Morning off to enjoy a late breakfast at your beautiful hotel, some pool and relax time with check out at 12. We will stop for lunch before visiting the newly inaugurated Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, showcasing a vast collection of artifacts spanning ancient Egyptian history. Visitors can expect to see treasures such as the belongings of King Tutankhamun and other iconic artifacts that have been meticulously preserved and displayed for public viewing.
Afternoon flight to Luxor. Flight time 45 minutes

Day 7: Luxor and The Land of the Pharaohs
Due to the popularity of Luxor we have created two experiences – those for returning guests who do not wish to sightsee again but would rather dedicate their time with us to being in the saddle, and those who are new to Luxor and wish to combine both riding and sightseeing into their stay.
- Option 1: After breakfast, meet the team and horses for a tour of the stables and enjoy a 2-hour introductory ride that takes you through authentic Egypt, exploring local villages, farmlands, and the scenic Nile. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, followed by a tour of the Valley of the Kings, and end the day with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon at sunset.
- Option 2: For saddle junkies, we offer a full saddle day, riding from 9-3pm. In the morning, we will head out into the fields where you will see farmers working the land as their forefathers did. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant while the horses dose in the shade. You’ll return to the stables via the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, offering fantastic photo opportunities.
In the evening all guests will enjoy dinner and belly dancing lessons at a local restaurant.
Day 9: Hot Air Balloons & Check-Out
Sail high over the famous monuments of Luxor on a sunrise hot air balloon ride. You’ll get unmatched aerial views and photo ops as your private guide provides insightful narrative. Alternatively, guests have the option to embark on a sunrise trail ride to observe the hot air balloon flights.
You will return to your hotel for breakfast around 9am, having a few hours to relax and enjoy the facilities and pool before checking out at 12.00. Late checks out are available on request at an extra charge (payable locally).
