I had the most amazing trip with Ride Egypt and absolutely CANNOT wait to book my next trip with them. I fell in love with the breathtaking horses - you immediately know they are very well cared for and unconditionally loved by all the Ride Egypt team members. Riding these horses was such a treat. They are absolutely bomb-proof, which is a testament to their dedicated training and acclimation to their surroundings. I was so impressed and couldn't believe I was riding an Arabian stallion with better manners and training than many geldings I've ridden in the US. What made this experience even more incredible was the outstanding Ride Egypt team. Ahmed and Tommy captured incredible videos and pictures for us that I'm absolutely in love with. They are pros at getting the best action and perfectly positioned still shots. Starting my trip with galloping in front of the Pyramids on a black stallion was a dream come true, but to my surprise, every day just kept getting better and better. I'm in love with the laid-back peaceful nature and welcoming people of Luxor. To top it off, I got to ride my dream horse, Drago, a black Arabian stallion that I'd fallen in love with from afar and followed on Instagram for almost a year before my trip. From Luxor, we moved to Hurghada and had more "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences - riding another beautiful gelding on the beach and through the red sea, then swimming with the horses just before leaving on our final day. I didn't spend my entire time in Egypt on horseback - I got to see the incredible temples and tombs of ancient Egypt as well. But to my great surprise... Before going to Egypt, I was worried about transportation and all the things I would have to take care of. But with Ride Egypt, I honestly didn’t have to worry about anything. They coordinated everything in real time — taxis, flights, instructors, hotel managers, and guides. Whenever I had a problem or just needed to ask something, I could contact Ride Egypt anytime and get help immediately. The few days we spent in Luxor were especially cozy and memorable. We even got to enjoy extra city tours and local shisha cafés after the activities. Each horse riding activity had a different style, which made the whole trip even more special. Riding in front of the pyramids was unforgettable, and riding by the seaside and dessert in Hurghada was also amazing. They really did their best to make us happy with the horse riding experience. I could also tell they genuinely care about their horses, and the horses looked healthy and well cared for. One of the best parts of the trip was meeting local people and learning about their lives. It was great to have guides at every place we visited. In Hurghada, where we didn’t really need a guide, the hotel manager still took great care of us — helping with taxis, tours, and even kite surfing whenever we wanted. From the organization and help provided (Gemma is a GEM!) to the horses and guides, especially Tommy who accompanied us and essentially chaperoned a bunch of passenger princesses in Dahab for the last portion of our trip and made sure our holiday brains stayed on track! He's such a kind, caring human! They genuinely all care for their horses, their health, happiness and ensure you're riding them how they should be ridden in a non patronizing, informative way. These horses are BOMB PROOF. We rode through Luxor for our first ride, and I cannot belive what they rode by without even flinching, traffic, dogs and scariest of all, plastic garbage! But damn, do these horses love to fly (so do I) and they know the spots!! The desert was like no other! The guides matched us well with our horses and I loved everyone I rode ♥️ What is also loved was Emma, Yosef and team joining us for meals and getting to know them on friendly levels, their way of living in Egypt. Plus the food in the desert was to die for! You wont go hungry!! And they went above and beyond when I left my backpack in a random taxi in Luxor and flew to Cairo (not organized by them-it was prior to my 'trip' woth them) and the team went full detective mode and got my bag back to me with everything still in it! They didnt have to help me, but I'm so greatful they did! They will also help you book other activities if you want, they day prior, a group of us when to the GEM museum and Gemma coordinated it all! I got to experience the living legend that is Egyptian history and culture, while riding gorgeous Arabian horses through fairytale desert landscapes. The itinerary was perfectly balanced between adrenaline junkie gallops, ancient Egyptian treasures, and serene desert respites. Papa Yousef, Tommy and the entire Ride Egypt horse team went out of their way to make sure our group was safe, having fun, and well photographed the entire time. The horses are beautifully trained, responsive, and well taken care of. I'll be riding high off this trip all year.
