Luxor, Ancient Egypt & the Red Sea

A deeper journey into Egypt.

From the timeless beauty of Luxor to the freedom of the Red Sea, this experience blends ancient history with something far more personal – a genuine connection to Egypt, its culture, its people, and its horses.
While Egypt’s iconic sites are world-famous, this journey goes beyond the guidebooks. Through riding, you’ll experience a side of Egypt few ever see – local villages, farmland, and daily life, all from the saddle. Time spent at our stables offers a rare insight into how we care for our horses, grow our own food, and live alongside them.
This is not Egypt behind glass. It’s Egypt as it is – real, raw, and deeply special.

✨ Snapshot Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor

Arrive into Luxor and settle into your boutique hotel, just moments from the Nile. Welcome dinner and time to relax into the slower rhythm of Upper Egypt.

Day 2: Ancient Wonders & First Ride

Explore the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple before stepping into a completely different side of Egypt. Visit our stables, meet the horses, and experience a more personal connection to local life before an introductory village ride through the West Bank.

Day 3: Sunrise Riding & Luxor by Night

Ride at sunrise beneath the hot air balloons before breakfast at the beautiful Habu Temple. Later, enjoy guided non-riding visits to Luxor Temple and the Luxor Museum with your Egyptology guide, where ancient artefacts and stories bring Egypt’s history vividly to life. Dinner is at the hotel.

Day 4: Trail Riding & Nile Evenings

Set out on a longer, faster-paced trail ride through farmlands, desert tracks, sugarcane plantations, and the mountain backdrops of Thebes – a chance to experience the freedom and exhilaration of riding through Luxor’s extraordinary landscapes. Stop for lunch and time to cool down by the swimming pool before returning to the hotel for a few hours to relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner sailing along the Nile before experiencing the Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple.

Day 5: Banana Island & Sunset Mountains

Ride through lush greenery and along the Nile towards Banana Island before a relaxed afternoon at the hotel. As the sun begins to fall, head back into the mountains for one final sunset ride across Luxor’s golden landscapes.

Day 6: Journey to the Red Sea

Travel across the desert to Hurghada and settle into your beachside hotel on the Red Sea coast. As evening approaches, head out for a sunset desert ride through dramatic coastal landscapes.

Day 7: Dolphins & The Red Sea

A slow morning to relax and enjoy the hotel, private beach, and pool at your own pace. After lunch, head out on a private glass-bottom boat adventure with wild dolphin spotting and snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. Return to the hotel for dinner and a final relaxed evening by the sea.

Day 8: Swimming With Horses & Departure

One final unforgettable experience – swimming with horses along the Red Sea coastline. Lunch at the hotel before check-out at 1pm for your onward journey home.
