Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Luxury pyramid-view hotel, welcome dinner, and your first evening in Egypt.
Day 2: Giza, The Sphinx & The Grand Egyptian Museum
Ride beneath the Great Pyramids before a privately hosted walking tour of the Sphinx. Lunch is served at the beautiful Khufu’s Restaurant overlooking the Pyramids, followed by an afternoon exploring the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum with your Egyptology guide. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Day Trip to Alexandria
Egypt’s Mediterranean jewel. Highlights include the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Citadel of Qaitbay, seaside Corniche, and the city’s unique blend of ancient history and coastal charm.
Day 4: Journey Into The Oasis
Travel west towards Bahariya Oasis, leaving the city behind for a slower pace of life surrounded by palms, desert silence, and beautiful horses. Sunset riding through lush agricultural farmland before dinner inspired by traditional family recipes. Campfire drinks beneath the stars before bed.
Day 5: Black Desert Riding & Bedouin Evenings
A slow and peaceful morning to relax beside the pool, visit the horses, or simply enjoy the stillness of the oasis. After lunch, ride into the Black Desert – vast open landscapes where you may not see another person for hours. Stop for tea at a private desert camp before continuing through volcanic scenery and endless space. Dinner and traditional music beside the fire with local Bedouins.
Days 6 & 7: White Desert Expedition & Luxury Desert Camping
Journey deeper into the extraordinary White Desert alongside the horses and safari team. Ride through surreal chalk formations, endless white landscapes, and soft pink-orange desert skies as the sun begins to set. Pause for a beautifully prepared tented lunch before continuing your ride into one of Egypt’s most magical landscapes.
Guests may choose to camp beneath the stars in private desert tents with proper beds, where the true luxury is the silence, stillness, and complete isolation of the desert itself. Wake to sunrise in the desert before returning via private 4×4 safari, natural hot springs, and sandboarding adventures. Return to the lodge to shower, relax, and enjoy one final lunch before travelling back to Cairo for overnight.
Day 8: Arrival in Luxor
Morning flight to Luxor and check into your lovely authentic hotel. A slower afternoon to relax, or unwind beside the pool before an evening Sound & Light experience at Karnak Temple.
Day 9: Sunrise Riding & Nile Evenings
Ride at sunrise beneath the hot air balloons before breakfast at Habu Temple, where your Egyptology guide brings the stories of ancient Egypt to life. Visit the Pottery School of Time for a more personal insight into local craftsmanship and daily life. As evening falls, board a private Dahabaya for sunset cocktails, dinner on the Nile, and live traditional music.
Day 10: Journey South Along the Nile
Begin the morning exploring the Valley of the Kings and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut with your Egyptology guide – two of Egypt’s most extraordinary ancient sites. After lunch and check-out, travel south towards Aswan, where the atmosphere becomes softer, slower, and deeply connected to the Nile. That evening, board a traditional felucca for an unforgettable overnight experience on the water beneath the stars.
Day 11: Temples, Tombs & Timeless Egypt
Privately hosted tours of Aswan’s temples and tombs, discovering a gentler and more colourful side of Egypt shaped by Nubian culture and river life. Later, check into your hotel and enjoy time to relax beside the Nile.
Day 12: Abu Simbel & Nubian Evenings
A day trip to the breath-taking temples of Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring ancient wonders. As evening falls, visit a traditional Nubian village, experiencing local hospitality, colour, music, and culture far from the usual tourist trail.
Day 13: Departure Day
Breakfast and morning check-out for your onward journey home.
