Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada

Welcome to Hurghada! We’ll greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first evening by the Red Sea.

Day 2: Old Downtown Hurghada Fish Markets and Mosque Tour

Discover the vibrant fish markets and explore the beautiful mosques in old downtown Hurghada. You will experience the local culture and cuisine.

Day 3: Full-Day Boat Trip

Enjoy a full-day boat trip on the Red Sea. Snorkel, swim, or just relax on deck, taking in the stunning marine life and crystal-clear waters.

Day 4: Transfer to Luxor

After breakfast, we will organize your transfer to Luxor. Upon arrival, lunch will be served before visiting Luxor Temple, the Mummification Museum, and Luxor Museum. In the evening, you will witness the spectacular Light and Sound Show at Karnak Temple, a captivating audiovisual journey through ancient history.  Your day will end with a dinner cruise on the Nile.

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Ride and Valley of the Kings Tour

Start your day with a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, a spectacular archaeological site located on the west bank of the Nile River.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will receive a guided tour of Hatshepsut’s Temple, Tutankhamen’s Tomb, and the Valley of the Kings featuring numerous rock-cut tombs. In the evening, we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Cairo and continue the adventure.

Day 6: Land of the Pharaohs – Giza Pyramids and Sphinx

Visit the iconic Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. The Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, are among the most famous and well-preserved monuments of ancient Egypt. The Sphinx, with its lion’s body and human head, guards the pyramids and adds to the mystique of the site.

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we will head to the Civilization Museum to see the royal mummies. The museum houses a fascinating collection of artifacts and mummies from ancient Egyptian history, providing insight into the rituals and beliefs surrounding death and the afterlife.

In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner cruise along the Nile River, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline illuminated at night, along with traditional Egyptian entertainment.

Day 7: Grand Egyptian Museum and Ancient Sites

Explore the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), followed by a local lunch. The GEM is set to be one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, showcasing a vast collection of artifacts spanning ancient Egyptian history. Visitors can expect to see treasures such as the belongings of King Tutankhamun and other iconic artifacts that have been meticulously preserved and displayed for public viewing.

After lunch, you will visit the ancient sites of Saqqara, Dashur, and Memphis to delve deeper into Egypt’s rich history.

Saqqara is home to the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the earliest colossal stone buildings in Egypt and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dashur is renowned for its Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid, which represent significant developments in pyramid construction during the Old Kingdom period. Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, boasts impressive statues and ruins that provide insights into the political and cultural significance of the city during ancient times.

Day 8: Giza Pyramids by Horse Carriage, Camel, or Horseback

Enjoy a unique tour of the Giza Pyramids by horse carriage, camel, or horseback. Afterward, we will transfer you back to your hotel for checkout.

Optional Day 9-10: Alexandria Excursion

Extend your adventure with a day trip to Alexandria, just 2.5 hours away from Cairo. This vibrant city offers a rich blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty.

Activities in Alexandria:

  • Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa- fascinating underground tombs that blend Pharaonic and Roman influences.
  • Pompey’s Pillar- an impressive Roman triumphal column, and a prominent historical landmark.
  • Royal Jewelry Museum- showcasing the luxurious jewelry collections of the former Egyptian royal family.
  • Roman Theater- well-preserved remnants of an ancient Roman theater.

Alexandria offers delicious local cuisine, with fresh seafood and delicious ice cream by the sea.

Our guests will stay overnight at a hotel in Alexandria before returning to Cairo for their departure flight in the afternoon or evening.
